About us

Allt Beag Cottage is owned by Ian and Isobel MacKinnon, and is built on the hillside of our croft in Strollamus. The cottage was built specially for holiday letting in 2005. We live in the bungalow at the foot of the driveway to the cottage.

We have lived and worked on the Isle of Skye all our lives, and can provide a wealth of local information to visitors.

We are now retired from former employment, but still keep hens and two ponies on the croft, as well as our dogs. We sometimes have fresh free range eggs for sale, laid by our hens.

We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful Isle of Skye and will do our best to ensure your stay at Allt Beag Cottage will be a treasured memory long after your holiday ends. Haste ye back!
